I danced in 2004. I take a lot of pride in the fact that I stayed on my feet for 48 hours for such a great cause. Students who stand on their feet for 45 hours will be no less proud of their accomplishment. The Four Diamonds Families will be no less greatful for the efforts of Penn State Students. What seperates Penn State's Dance Marathon from those of other schools is the effort that is put in during the 10-12 months leading up to THON weekend. THON is not about how many hours we stand on our if feet. It is about how many families we can help. This is the spirit of THON and it will remain unchanged. The move to the BJC gives THON the opportunity to grow and I for one am very excited about the move.
