Get ready for the 3rd THON Day Out – Baltimore! Yes, we are back by popular demand. After only 2 years we are making this a bi-annual event, which is proudly endorsed by Baltimore’s Penn State Alumni Association.
The 3rd THON Day out will occur Saturday, August 15th from 2-6pm at Taps (1439 S Charles St). All attendees will be asked to pay a $5 admission at the door which will go directly to THON. You may also opt to pay an additional entry fee of $25/person to compete in a flip cup tournament. (That's $30 total including admission at the door and will include all elements needed to play). We will also have a 50/50 raffle to raise more money for our favorite cause.
If you are competing in the flip cup tournament, please have your captain email Ryan Barth(rdb179@gmail.com) or Matt Hutchinson at (mshutchinson1@gmail.com) with your team members and team name.
The flip cup tournament will be run the same as last year. 6-person teams will compete in a double elimination tournament. Team uniforms and boisterous chants are highly encouraged. We need your team captain's RSVP by WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12th. After that, we can not guarantee your team a spot in the tournament (although we will do everything we can to accommodate you). Late entries will be accepted at the door if space allows.
The winning flip cup team will be given gift certificates by Taps Baltimore.
