The unofficial start of summer is almost here, and so of course we wish you safe travel, enjoyable weekends, and all the fun and relaxation that summer has to offer. Here at the end of the semester and academic year, the work for THON 2009 is already underway! With Blue and White weekend this past weekend, you can feel the alumni energy everywhere, and as summer approaches, we're looking for what's next! With your year-round calendar and opportunities with DMAIG, you're never far from the next event or volunteer opportunity. And with the enthusiasm and activity already brewing on campus, there's already plenty to watch from the new overall committee.

Penn State Hershey's Children's Hospital is in the running to receive a new free playground. They need your help, please if you have a minute today, go to the website below and vote for the Penn State Children's Hospital. We are in competition with a few other hospitals to get a brand new playground for the Children's Hospital and voting ends *TONIGHT (3/31) at MIDNIGHT!!!
Go to the link below and click on Pennsylvania on the map. Then select Western PA, followed by Penn State Children's Hospital.

DMAIG Update: March 4, 2008
Have you caught your breath
yet? As the THON 2008 total went up, with the announcement of $6,615,318.04 for
the kids, alumni phones were ringing across the nation. Emails were sent in a
flurry. Google status messages were full of Penn State Pride. Facebook profiles
got updates with incredible news. Wherever you were when you heard, you knew
THON 2008 had made its mark, that the dancers, volunteers, and fundraisers had
made an incredible difference. Things would never be the same. The word "hope"
