THON Weekend 2009 will be February 20-22, 2009.

Alumni Diamond ZoneFor many, THON has become a yearly tradition, reuniting with old classmates, friends, and family. The Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group (DMAIG) aims to provide a weekend full of activities allowing you to reunite with your THON family, continuing to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer, through support of The Four Diamonds Fund & The Penn State Dance Marathon.

The DMAIG with the help of the current undergraduate leadership of THON, have put together activities which will allow you to tour THON, learn the line dance, catch up with THON families, participate in bathroom breaks / slides of strength, DMAIG Diamond Zone and even a chance to visit the floor.

We hope that you will consider joining us for one, or all of the Alumni events that we have planned through out the weekend.

THON 2008

THON 2008 TotalDMAIG members kicked off THON 2008 by dancing the night away at Tony’s Big Easy for a reunion. Saturday morning, Alumni were back on their feet, as they had the joined the DMAIG Board for a reception and open meeting sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association, a behind the scenes tour of the BJC & THON 2008. As the weekend went on DMAIG members had the opportunity to participate in the slide of strength, and the first ever DMAIG Diamond Zone during the Pep Rally.
