Do not leave your THON spirit behind when you graduate! Continue to spread your passion and love For The Kids by organizing and attending regional events in your new hometown. The DMAIG has created Regions throughout the country in an effort to increase our support of regional events. Currently we only have Regional Chairs in the New York / Northern New Jersey, Washington D.C. / Virginia / Maryland, Philadelphia / Southern New Jersey / Delaware, and Pittsburgh / Erie regions. If you are interested in becoming a Regional Chair for the Central PA, New England, South-East, Mid-West, South, South-West, or North-West regions please contact Emily Greenberg at regionalevents@dmaig.org. Thank you to ALL event chairs, volunteers, and supporters. Your continued dedication to conquering childhood cancer helps to spread awareness and brings us one step closer to prevailing over this terrible disease!

What does a Regional Chair do?
Your Regional Chair supports local events by:
THON Express Runner
- Providing advice and "how-to" guides
- Promoting events to our membership through our website and monthly emails
- Promoting the event through THON
- Registering your event with THON
- Helping to find volunteers (if needed)
- Providing THON print materials and merchandise to be sold at your event
- Serving as the link between the event and THON & The Four Diamonds Fund
- Helping to follow all THON rules and regulations while making sure the event is an enormous success...For The Kids!
As soon as you decide to organize an event, immediately contact your Regional Chair to begin the planning process. They will work with you through the planning process from finding a venue up through the point you turn in the funds raised to THON, helping you to establish an annual event. Please remember, the money raised may be credited to the organization of your choice. DMAIG wants to help and support alumni and friends holding and attending events and does not need to receive credit for the donation to THON.
