The War on the Shore is back for its 5th and biggest year ever Saturday August 8th at 5:00 at the Windrift. Last year was a huge success with over 425 attendees, raising just over $20,000 FTK! This year WOTS will be run under the PSU Alumni-ran Elpis Foundation (www.TheElpisFoundation.org). Elpis is a Philly based Non Profit Corporation that raises money for various charities. Come out for a good time and a great cause and help support THON!

Get ready for the 3rd THON Day Out – Baltimore! Yes, we are back by popular demand. After only 2 years we are making this a bi-annual event, which is proudly endorsed by Baltimore’s Penn State Alumni Association.

3rd Annual Links with Lachie Golf Tournament

As most of you know, on November 4, 2006 our 4-year-old son, Lachlan, was diagnosed with an aggressive malignant tumor of the orbit of the eye. The six months that followed the diagnosis were very challenging times for our family. We struggled with life and death scenarios of our youngest son as we supported him through an exhaustive schedule of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

DMAIG Hope Gala Summer Scavenger Hunt

What do you get when you mix a scavenger hunt, a part trivia game, and one great party? Our first annual NYC Summer Scavenger Hunt to benefit the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group and the 2010 Hope Gala! To register, click here.

Join fellow Penn Staters for a night of bowling and fun at the first annual PSU Boston Bowl-a-THON. All proceeds will go towards the Penn State Dance Marathon.

Head on over to Kings on August 28th. The bowling starts at 5:30pm and lasts until 7:30pm. It costs just $15 which includes the bowling and shoe rentals. Plus, we'll have food and a 50/50 raffle!
